Michael Dove has joined the board of managers of OFS Portal, a global member-based group that works to advance eCommerce in the upstream oil and gas industry. Mr. Dove is the Vice President of Information Technology for Weatherford International. Michael brings a depth of experience in management and information technology to his position on the OFS Portal board of managers. Since joining Weatherford in 2002, he has served in several roles within IT, playing an active role in driving the IT vision which has helped enabled Weatherford’s rapid growth. “We welcome Michael to the Board of OFS Portal,” said William Le Sage, CEO of OFS Portal. “ Michael has been involved in Weatherford’s eCommerce successes and we look forward to utilizing his experience to help OFS Portal continue to contribute to the industry”.
Prior to Weatherford, Michael held organization roles that focused in the financial and consultancy arenas outside that oil and gas industry and is able to bring that experience to bear. Mr. Dove graduated from Tulane University with a B.S. degree in Management and an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Michael will fill the remaining term of the board seat held by Nicholas Gee.
