Q – I don’t have a username and password, what do I need to do?
A – Click on the login link at the top right of the home page. Then click on the Registration link on the left hand menu. Fill out all of the required fields (marked with a *), then click Register Now. You will have an email with a temporary password send to your email address, which you can use on the login page, then you will be asked to change it to a password of your choosing.
NB – If you are an employee of one of our member companies, please register using your corporate email address, rather than a non-corporate one, in case there is additional content that we may need to grant you access to.
If your company has been granted access to additional content, your credentials will be checked with your company contact and when confirmed, you will be placed into the relevant security groups.
Q – I have forgotten my password.
A – Click on the Login link, then click on the Reset Password link on the left hand menu. Enter your user ID (your email address) then click the Submit Login ID button. A new temporary password will be generated and emailed to you, which you can use to login to the site, where you will be asked to set a permanent password.
Q – I am an employee of one of the member companies and I have registered with the site. Other members of my company that also have logins have access to more content than I. Why is this?
A – Part of the approval process involves a check with the corporate contact of your company. Upon their approval, access is granted to additional content. There is sometimes a period of several days between requests for access and permission being granted.
Q - When I click on the eRoom link on the left hand menu, I get a message that I am not authorized to access this application.
A - Although you can access the eRoom application from the portal, you need to be set up in eRoom itself for this to work. Please contact your company contact and they will evaluate your requirements or send an email to website_support@ofs-portal.com and we will forward it on.
Q - I have access to eRoom but when I click on the link, it does not log me into the eRoom application.
A - Have you changed your password in eRoom? If so, please contact us at website_support@ofs-portal.com and we will update the portal's single sign-on database. If not, please contact us with the error message and we will troubleshoot the issue.
